Official Hotel and Friday rally HQ moves to Johnson City, TN

In preparation for planned expansion in 2023, Johnson City, TN has been named the official host city for the 2022 Bristol Forests Rally. Friday rally HQ, check-in, scrutineering, and Parc Expose will all be located in Johnson City, TN.

We are very excited about this development. The folks at Visit Johnson City have really shown us great hospitality, and I think this move will benefit the rally overall.

King Commons Park in Downtown Johnson City, TN

The official hotel of the event is the Holiday Inn, Johnson City located conveniently right off of I26. Check-in for competitors and volunteers as well as Scrutineering will happen at the hotel on Friday May 13th.

In the evening on May 13th, the Bristol Forests Rally Parc Expose will take place in downtown at King Commons Park together with the annual concert series Fridays After Five.

Combining our event with the weekly concert series will give us the ability to reach a few thousand people in the community that might not have heard of the Bristol Forests Rally otherwise. It’s also a great opportunity to show off how our little town is growing into a hub of Appalachian culture. Teams will be able to grab a local brew from one of the many breweries downtown, order some great food from any number of restaurants, and take in the free concert. I think this is a huge step for our event as we grow.
